Traceability
The solutions of traceability developed by Vinitag have been developed for the wines and spirits industry from producers to wine merchants.
Thanks to the solutions of marking developed by Vinitag and its software S.O.D.A. you can check your whole stream of production from bottling to shipping. Every bottle is identified and followed individually during each step of the production process.
The solution is packaged with SODA software, developed specifically for the management of production of wines and spirits. In order to fit with your technical and budgetary requirements the software proposal includes 3 differents options:
- SODA One Solution all-in -one adapted to the domains producing up to 50,000 bottles a year.
- SODA MTP Solution Multifunction adapted to domains producing up to 250,000 bottles a year.
- SODA Enterprise Solution Client Server for industrial environments such as automated production line.
This software in connection with the elements of marking, the systems of reading and your Production machines allows you to follow every step of the process of production from bottling to shipping.
The S.O.D.A software is developed for intensive use in wineries in order to be integrated in the current equipments of Production. Also, SODA supervises all operations on a real-time basis.
By interfacing the S.O.D.A software in your solution of parcel traceability and in your system of business management, it is possible for you to follow your whole production from the vineyard to consumers.

Authenticity
The Prooftag Bubble Tag technology was specifically developped for wines and spirits industry and by its department "Vinitag".
This development done in cunjunction with the producers allows not only to authenticate a bottle but also its contents.
Implemented by the producers, these solutions of certification bring the very first visible proof and allow each person in ownership of a bottle (distributors, consumers, experts) to be assured of the authenticity and integrity of a bottle before its purchase and its consumption.
The Bubble Tag: the ultimate solution of visible authentification
Standard security technologies , using whatever marking, ink, holograms or electronics, are mass-produced and thus reproducible in large quantity. Only the technologies that can not be reproduced by the original manufacturers can offer the certainty of an effective protection against counterfeiting.

To bring a proof of authenticity AND integrity, Vinitag choses to propose the Bubble Tag under the shape of a Bubble Seal adapted to bottles.
The standard pressure sensitive seal has got a strip shape integrating a Bubble Tag with its registration reference in Prooftag’s database and its alphanumeric reference and its datamatrix ( see description on the website www.prooftag.com) allowing to proceed to the control .The logo or the name of the producer can be printed on the seal on request.
The Bubble Tag is three-dimensional, its thickness is more important that the thickness of the Seal material. The bubble tag is not an image but bubbles are really encapsulated into a resin of several tenth millimeter in thickness.
The shape and the color of Bubble Seals can be customize on request to be in accordance with the shape and the design of the bottle.
Process of authenticity
The authentication is made thanks to visual control or by an expert reader.
The visual control
Like a universal language, the Bubble Tag can be visually authenticated, at any time in any place.
The reference printed on the seal gives access to the bubbles image prerecorded and stored in a database. Just key the reference on the www.prooftag.com website on your personal computer or mobile phone to check if the Bubble Tag presented on the seal is the same that the one who appears to the screen. If it is the case, it means that the bottle is genuine one.
This type of control is extremely easy. More than 99.5 % of the persons having tested it, is capable of making a visual comparison within 5 seconds.

The control by a reader
For any formal control, the Bubble Tags can be checked by an electronic system. The Prooftag reader uses a lighting system and algorithms allowing to calculate electronic signatures of the bubbles. By connecting automatically in the database through the gate, it checks the signature against the one stored during the recording. This control maybe made by the distributors or by anybody in case of dispute.
Function of external traceability
The Bubble Seal on which is printed a datamatrix also plays the role of traceability, externally this time. It means that the producer can follow its product from bottling to customers and not only from bottling to shipping: the process is offering then full traceability.
Function of integrity
The Bubble Seal ensures the integrity of the bottle and thus prevent any practice of re-filling. This integrity is guaranteed by the impossibility to remove the Bubble Seal from wine glass bottle . To make sure of the authenticity of the contents, it is recommended to make sure of the integrity of the seal. The tag will present signs of a break-in if somebody try to remove it from the bottle. Tracks of tearing apart are obvious. Any change of color has to appear as a witness of opening.
